Recently, students of ISM Lower Campus wandered through a universe of literature for a whole week of celebrations. The children were delighted to spend time getting to know their favourite books in more detail than ever before. It was a joy to see so many children absorbed in the world of books!
We are very proud of the array of talents that our students have to offer at ISM and we love to celebrate this. Even in the midst of the coldest of winter month the warmth came through in each of our Talent Show performances.
Our students’ academic and personal achievements are a source of great pride for us. Today, we celebrate the incredible accomplishment of Shunichiro in Year 12, who has been awarded a medal for achieving the highest score in Russia for the IGCSE Mathematics (Higher Tier) examination.
Krylatskoe Lower Campus beamed live to countries across the globe with the audience enjoying fifteen wonderful performances, showcasing some incredible skills, from ice skating to gymnastics to singing.
This year, The International School of Moscow joined hands to support disadvantaged children in our community by organising our traditional The Giving Tree event.
Our Secondary School students continue to excel in representing our school on an international level. Recently twelve students have attended the Virtual Berlin Model United Nations and some of them have written about their experience.
ISM students, parents and staff members have proven once again how limitless their talents are. They have shown us ‘The Great Outdoors’ through the lens of their cameras for our annual Photography Competition.
Krylatskoe Students across Upper Primary and Secondary School have been exploring the differences and similarities in countries and cultures all over the world.
Ranging from producing audio soundscapes to modeling antigravity sculptures, students from Year Six to Year 9 have been participating in various challenges related to the theme of our MIT Challenge: Living in Space.
The morning of Friday the 26th of June 2020 will also live long in the memory of all members of our school community as it was our first ever Virtual End of Year Celebration.
Every Tuesday and Thursday morning from 08:00 (MSK), Mr Storey and Mr Langford have been streaming live into the homes of the ISM community and beyond, with listeners joining us from the UK, Ireland, South Korea and even Australia.

In both Primary and Secondary, Global Campus has seen ISM’s students participate in a wealth of activities this year, with many having engaged in competitions and other learning opportunities on Nord Anglia’s online platform.
