Year 1 have been learning about toys and games and Year 2 have enjoyed talking and writing about daily routines. Year 3 and 4 started February by reviewing school subjects, including lessons on the language of Art and Music. This week they have started the topic of food – always popular with the children – and they had great fun writing a recipe for soup and creating a video to show how to make soup!
Year 5 have written letters to children of the future and enjoyed lessons about museums. Finally the Year 6 students have designed and written adverts for a Spy Museum and discussed the pros and cons of tourism.
We have been trying some new resources in class with more opportunities for the children to interact with spelling and grammar games and practice their listening skills.
