It has been a great first term of After School Activities at BSB Sanlitun.

Our new facilities in the Li Building have certainly enhanced our ASA programme, particularly the Cookery, the Art Room, the Dance Studio and the Drama Studio with the amazing green screen. Children in Years 1 - 6 have had the opportunity to do two ASAs a week this term.  This way they get to try out something that they know they enjoy or possibly develop a new skill or interest.

At the end of nine fun filled weeks, the ASA assembly provided a fantastic platform for children to share what they had been doing in their ASAs.  An excited audience of Years 1 - 6 were treated to a debut performance from the Orchestra ASA, two cool dances from the Street Dance ASA and a beautiful song from the Choir ASA. The audience also got to watch a revealing interview with our school Principal John Brett, courtesy of BSB News Presenters.  The children also were invited to suggest some activities that they would like to see for Term 2 ASAs. A number of these suggestions have been added to the list of options for KS1 and KS2. Stay tuned for the ASA Fair on January 11th to find out what they will be!
