DCIS Netball Team Being Ambitious

  • Under 10s Netball Team October 2015

Netball 12 & Under

Three nights of Netball this week for the Under 12 Netball team of DCIS has paid off in dividends. They beat DCSG 5-0 in the Division 3 ACSIS friendlies. More importantly, though, the girls have learnt so much about the game. They now have a better understanding of the rules, positions and tactics as well as the fact that they 'want the ball' whether attacking or defending. It was a thrill to watch from start to finish at DCSG after two hard fought matches against Avondale and AIS.

Netball 10 & Under

The  team had a fantastic time at their first Netball Tournament. As it was the first time this year for the children to play netball, they all did amazingly well! The children improved so much throughout each game demonstrating excellent spacing and passing. They lost the first three games and won the fourth game 3-0. Well done to all the team!
