To help support SG Relief (a Singaporean NGO who are taking masks and respirators to haze-stricken Sumatra and Kalimantan), Elaine Freidlander (a DCIS parent) helped DCIS put on a school-wide bake sale on November 4th. The result: Over SGD$1,600 raised to bring N95 grade masks for the general population and respirators (heavy-duty masks) for firefighters in an effort to help all those in Indonesia who are currently suffering from the choke-inducing haze.
DCIS is proud to be a part of this effort, to bring some much needed relief to those in Indonesia who are suffering from the unfortunate consequences of this man-made environmental disaster.
