Ever wonder what we get up to during ECA Football when the Singapore weather strikes (ie thunder and storms)?....
Well take a look at the video done by Mr Liperis and Mr O'Shea of the Year 5/6 Football ECA Mannequin Challenge here at DCIS.
This new challenge is sweeping the web although it's not a contest for a noble cause, and there are no winners and losers. But these "challenges" are everywhere, and everyone - from Paul McCartney to Beyonce - is doing them. Here's what you need to know.
What is the Mannequin Challenge?
The Mannequin Challenge is a short video that shows people standing completely still for about a minute. In this latest viral video genre, groups of people are gathering and freezing themselves in place, often in elaborate poses and scenarios, as one camera-toting person walks through the scene to zoom in on the details.
It's goofy, it's creative, it's innocent fun. The fad has been lapped up by the biggest stars from the sports and entertainment world.
Where did the Mannequin Challenge originate?
According to several reports, this internet sensation all started with a video from Twitter user showing a group of high school friends from Edward H. White High School in Jacksonville, Florida.
What are the Mannequin Challenge rules?
There are no official rules to the Mannequin Challenge - except, of course, everyone in the frame should be still.
Great attempt! #downwiththekids
