UPCOMING DATES AND DEADLINE 

• 25th Apr - World Languages Global News Report Challenge deadline
• 1st May - Creative Writing student choice voting deadline
• 2nd May - Visual Arts competition deadline
• 2nd May - Creative Writing student choice winners announcement

UPDATES

• WILLIAM SHAKESPEARE GLOBAL THEATRE CHALLENGE - 20 schools took part, and it is now time for the Teacher challenge! Students need to go online and vote for their favourite - voting closes at the beginning of May. Give your support to our very own DCIS teachers Mr McCarthy and Mr Cotterill!
• CREATIVE WRITING COMPETITION - The 'Judges Choice Award' for each age category, 'Highly Commended Award' and the 'Student Choice Award' will be announced on Monday 2nd May. Voting is still open for the ‘Student Choice Award’ as well; get online and read the final winners entries and vote - prizes are available for all of the above final award winners.
• GLOBAL CAMPUS PASSPORTS (PRI) – As we move into the last term of the school year,  don’t forget to keep bringing in your Global Campus passport for stamping! Passports will be collected in at the end of the term to award certificates to those with the most stamps.
• ONLINE ACTIVITIES – There are still new activities being uploaded regularly to the Global Campus Online – keep logging in to check the Primary or Secondary area.

• LES MARTINES SWITZERLAND TRIP – Training has started today for the 11 students and 2 teachers heading for the Alpine Adventure this June! We wish them lots of luck in their training and hope they cope climbing all those stairs in this heat! 
• NEWS STUDENTS FOR TERM 3 – Welcome to the Global Campus! You should be receiving your account details and passports  (PRI) by Friday this week. We hope you enjoy taking part in all the activities on the Global Campus.
