The early rise (5am for most of us) and the border queues were soon forgotten as the coach pulled up at Marlborough College, Malaysia (MCM).

MCM had a very friendly and welcoming atmosphere where the Dover Fins parents and, most of  all, the swimmers, were absolutely AWESOME at the first swim meet of 2017.

The pool was 50m. For most of our swimmers this was a new experience but no one was daunted by this. The whole day was a great team effort.

This was brilliantly demonstrated when the last race was called. Our swimmers and supporters alike sang 'Lets go Dover, let's go' so loudly it was resounding around the swimming arena.

Fabulous day.
