A testimonial from three DCIS students
Dear DCIS Families,
Today’s Food Drive went really well. The Year 10 iGCSE students came up with the idea of the Food Drive (as part of UNICEF's Global Goal towards Zero Hunger), and we are all very excited to volunteer to help those in need.
It was a great feeling to know we are helping out, and giving away the stickers was a perfect way to show how the younger students contributed to the Food Drive.
By 8:30am we put all the food into boxes and wheeled them into storage, ready for the big pickup tomorrow. Unfortunately we can’t all volunteer tomorrow because the spaces are already booked! We have way too many volunteers!
We know the Food Drive will help people around Singapore. There are poor people here who we don’t really see in our daily lives and many of them don’t have as much as we do. It’s been an amazing experience volunteering and we’re glad to be able to offer the food and supplies to those in need.
