Street Smart at Lower Primary Assembly

22 February 2018

The focus of this weeks assembly was to think about how we keep safe outside of school.

Mrs. Gray introduced the children to the Green Cross Code and spoke about how to be safe in cars, taxi and buses.

At the end of the assembly the children were given the following challenges:

  • The next time you cross a road, make sure you do it safely. Once you have crossed the road sensibly,  tell the adult with you what you have remembered about crossing the road
  • Remind your family to put their seat-belts on
  • Put your own seat-belt on without being reminded
  • Make sure not to distract the driver.

Once they have achieved any of the above they can give Mrs. Gray a thumbs up.
