The tournament bought teams from KL and beyond. The day was hosted by the Singapore Gaelic Lions Club Singapore taking place at Turf City. The girls who represented DCIS put on a fantastic performance, with only ever having one GAA training session before, these young athletes showed just what they can do. The girls demonstrated skills learned in other sports and just how quickly they can adapt to something new. A big thank you to Janet McSwiney who managed and coached the girls on the day, even leading them to victory - winning a bronze medal!
I am always very proud of the efforts and sportsmanship, shown by our young athletes in whatever they do.
Look out for the Singapore school wide GAA league in the near future.
Well done girls!
