Pottery Inspired by Ancient Greece

In Year 5 we have been learning all about Ancient Greece and have been designing and making our own Greek style pots.

After creating some sample designs and deciding which will be our final creation, we began the clay work! We used air-drying clay to create the shape of our pots using a range of tools including; scrapers, shaping tools, ribbon tools and hole cutters. Then, we left the pots to dry overnight, ready for painting!
