The DCA Quiz Night 2019

05 March 2019

On Friday night, 14 parent and two teacher teams eagerly gathered in Cooper Hall for the DCA's annual Quiz Night.

Up for grabs was bragging rights and the satisfaction of not letting the teachers win.  With seven rounds of challenging questions, there was no clear leader until the final scores were added up.  The Rebel Rousers, comprising parents from 7JH, emerged victorious and claimed their prizes of Havalina Wine and the new DCIS water bottles.  In lieu of a wooden spoon, bottom-placed Team Perkele also got a water bottle.  They should be congratulated though on having a team comprising only Finnish parents!  Aside from the quiz, parents enjoyed catching up with old friends and making new ones over drinks and food.  There was also a raffle which raised nearly $1000 for charity.  With thanks to everyone who helped make the evening a success.  Special mention to quiz master John, his assistant Ann and the other volunteers who helped set up and sell raffle tickets.
