Paralympic athlete Andy Barrow joined us for the day and led a range of PE lessons with students from Year 1 and all the way up to the Year 10 PE GCSE students. These sessions challenged the students in new ways - have you ever tried rolling a ball without seeing it, catching something without using your hands or throwing a ball to a friend, standing on your knees? The PE lessons were much appreciated by all and led to interesting discussions on what diversity means in our society.
The Dover Court community also celebrated what diversity means to them by creating a thought-wall on campus.
The day culminated with an interview of Andy Barrow, carried out by our Secondary media students.
