Great Races for Dover Court Fins

Swim meets for the Dover Fins are normally freestyle races of 25m, 50m and occasionally 100m. Last Friday at The Nexus Wave, however, the shortest freestyle distance was 200m (8 lengths) and the longest 400m!

I took along 12 of the Dover Fins swimmers to compete. They all did so well and they have all established a new PB for themselves. I think the photos of them all after their races show their relief, pride and sense of achievement. Koto, as the only 13 years old swimming in the meet for Dover Fins, swam in the 400m race. This week, all the other Fins are going to 'have a go' at being timed for this distance too. In Koto's honour!

Well done everyone!
