The students  have spent a few lessons making and using art tools from found items in the school ground such as twigs, stones and leaves. These tools were used to make marks on different papers which were then made into collages in the style of John Piper.  Last week the students enjoyed being taken out of their comfort zone to use long sticks of willow with charcoal attached to the ends to draw the trees outside.  These drawings will be turned into an abstract piece based on the work of Mondrian and Miro.
