In 2011 I finished my A-levels, obtained a TEFL certification and came to China for a teach-and-travel gap year. During my first week teaching, I realised that my true passion lay in educating young learners which made me pursue this career. I obtain a degree in Chinese Language and Culture as well as a Post Graduate Certificate in Education from Nottingham University.
I was raised as part of a mobile family and spent most of my school life in international schooling just like many at BSB. I have always had an affinity for working with young learners. My cosmopolitan upbringing allows me to educate and nurture from a place of understanding and care. My mother is a veteran teacher and has been working with children for decades. She continues to be a major source of guidance and inspiration for me in both life and career. This is my first year at BSB and I'm excited to become a valued member of the BSB family.
I have a child-like heart and love to watch Disney movies and knit in my leisure time. Learning different languages is a true passion of mine; at this present time I can speak Hebrew, Spanish, Chinese and English.
Travel is an absolute must for me and I would never turn down an adventure, whether in a new country or in a forest. I am fascinated by the natural world and am currently completing a Level 3 Forest School Practitioner qualification.
My bubbly, affectionate nature fosters an energetic and open classroom environment perfect for personal growth and learning. I enjoy socialising and meeting new people so feel welcome to come and say Shalom, Hola, NiHao or Hi!
