The Early Years students have had an exciting end to Term 1. They have enjoyed lots of festive activities such as baking gingerbread and decorating their cookies. They also made beautiful hanging decorations to sell to raise money for our charity.
We would like to thank parents for their generous donations to ‘The Hungarian Guide Dog School’. The students have been very interested to learn about guide dogs as part of this experience. For our final December visits to the forest, the students have enjoyed making and taking hot chocolate, along with having a forest fire to toast marshmallows. They learned about fire safety and made s’mores with cookies and their toasted marshmallows. They also had the opportunity for lots of sliding on the snowy hills. The term ended with a little on-site field trip to the BISB BIStro for a special snack! This opportunity brought joy to the end of our term.
