Our Year 1 students transformed themselves into palaeontologists for an inquiry-led science lesson. We learned about coprolites and how they have helped palaeontologists discover more about different dinosaurs' diets. They dissected ‘coprolites’ to find clues as to whether the producers were carnivores, herbivores or omnivores, then found the matching dinosaur teeth. A memorable science lesson!
