MOVE(NYC) – Chanel DaSilva & Nigel Campbell - Dancers

We are really pleased to announce that today we are launching a new “Ask the Artist” featuring Juilliard Alumni and award-winning dancers and choreographers Chanel DaSilva & Nigel Campbell. Chanel and Nigel have come together as Co-Founders and Artist Directors of MOVE(NYC), a New York City based arts organisation whose mission is to cultivate greater diversity and equity within the dance profession.  On the Global Campus Online page, our students can see examples of the amazing dancing that Chanel and Nigel have created independently in their careers, as well as details on MOVE(NYC) and the work they’re doing to provide tuition free, high-calibre dance education and leadership training to talented and motivated New York teenagers.

Students can ask Chanel and Nigel questions about their careers, MOVE(NYC), why they feel it is important to give back to their community or anything they are curious about. The questions deadline is Friday 23rd November 2018 and we will be posting their video answers in January 2019.

Students can find Chanel and Nigel’s “Ask the Artist” page here - or via the ‘Performing Arts’ section on Global Campus Online.
