DVAC U19 Girls Volleyball – CHAMPIONS!

Our KS4/5 girls woke up very early to travel to Bratislava for the annual DVAC U19 Girls Volleyball Tournament last Saturday. After a short nap the soundtrack of Mamma Mia helped energise the team and as a result, the girls were unstoppable for the rest of the day. They played with passion and grit and won all their matches. BISB became DVAC champions again, defending their title.

We are continuing to work on our game and are looking forward to playing in the season closing volleyball event: the ENASA U19 Volleyball Tournament hosted by BISB on Friday 30th November and Saturday 1st December. Supporters are very welcome to come along and support BISB’s three teams as well as the visiting NAE schools coming from Spain, Poland, Czech Republic and Slovakia.
Go Wolves!

DVAC U19 Boys Volleyball - CHAMPIONS!
After winning the DVAC U19 Boys Volleyball Tournament a year ago, our boys defended their title at home. The boys played outstandingly; they won all their games without losing a single set in the group stage. After losing the first set against the Bratislava team in the final, their effort to win went beyond my expectations and they won the next two sets to become champions!  Well done boys.
