Minicitta Fun Run

The annual Vivicitta Budapest Marathon weekend is fast approaching and this year we are entering a ‘Team BISB’ for all BISB Students, Staff and Parents!

The marathon weekend is on Saturday 4th and Sunday 5th April on Margit Island. The events of the weekend are made up of a range of distances from the 1km walk to the 21.1km half marathon. 

Team BISB will be participating in the 2.4km ‘Minicitta’ Fun Run which starts at 11.00am on Saturday 4th April and will take you on a half loop of Margaret Island. Along the course, you will see the beautiful spring gardens of Margaret Island along with plenty of people cheering and willing you onto the finish line. Over the past few years, the participation in the event has been high and the atmosphere of the whole occasion has been electric!

This year we are combining this event with raising money for the Csodalampa charity, which organises final wishes for terminally ill children. For more information on Csodalampa please follow this link https://www.csodalampa.hu/csodalampa

The entry fee for the 2.4km Fun Run event is 2500Ft and includes:

• Race number
• Unique running t-shirt
• Unique finishers’ medal
• Refreshments
• Finishers bag
• 1000Ft donation to Csodalampa

The event starts at 11:30am but we will meet at 10:30am to take photos and enjoy the occasion.
