Dear Parents,
Let me start with a HUGE thank you to everyone who made our Book Day & Library Opening such a fabulous success. You only have to look at these beautiful photos (thank you to our talented photographer and Year 5 teacher, Kelly O’Rourke) to see what a cracking day we had.
Please remember to ask your children about Nury Vittachi – or Mr Jam – who had all the children in stitches with his funny stories. Behind the laughter Nury had an important message for all our children about the importance of reading, writing and story-telling. Nury also kindly stayed on to cut the ribbon on our new Library. This lovely space has quickly become the heart of the school!
