DCA Events

02 October 2015

The Dover Court Association (DCA) is a body of parents who work for the good of the School and to enhance the experiences of the children at DCIS

The DCA help organize events that bring parents, students and staff together for fun and entertainment. The DCA aims to work alongside the School to build on the elements of community, friendship, support and fun..

Events from the DCA this term include:

DCA Meeting on Monday, 5th October in the Music Room

DCA Quiz Night on Friday, 23rd October from 7.30pm in Cooper Hall - to raise funds for a Christmas Fair

DCA Pumpkin Carving Competition on Thursday, 29th October at 6.00pm

DCA Christmas Fair on Sunday, 22nd November

The DCA meet regularly to coordinate a programme of events for both parents and children throughout the year. Participation is not compulsory and can range from helping to organise an event to simply attending and enjoying it. The DCA welcomes new members who might wish to ‘lend a hand’. The DCA is a wonderful way to meet other parents and to contribute in a very real way to the wellbeing of your child’s school.

A parent from each year acts as a Class Representative for the DCA. They are an important link between the Association and the parents, often providing information, coordinating class events such as the field trips, library assistants and generally undertaking a supportive role.
