Juilliard - Nord Anglia Performing Arts Programme: Parent Workshop

Workshop on 22nd November will demonstrate how our Juilliard-curated repertoire enables your child to understand the language of music and develop creative skills such as improvisation and composition

  • Juilliard - Nord Anglia Performing Arts: Parent Workshop

Our embedded arts curriculum begins with music. Your child will be drawn into a Juilliard-curated repertoire comprising 12 core categories that complements our existing Key Stage 1, 2 and 3 national curriculum. Each of the 12 categories is exemplified by an iconic work supplemented with carefully curated extension works, enabling your child to explore different elements of music and its role in our society. These works are also link to related pieces of repertoire, so students develop a broad scope of music styles and genres.

As the medium of instruction is through the keyboard, your child will understand the language of music and develop creative skills in a practical way. Our outstanding teachers will use the Juilliard Creative Classroom to deliver a range of engaging lessons and a host of other teaching materials, recordings and videos for their lessons.

Our parent workshop on 22nd November will be demonstrating the Juilliard - Nord Anglia Performing Arts Curriculum and we will be making a very special announcement for all DCIS families.

Parents are invited to attend this workshop to see our Music curriculum in action. For further information please click on the links below to view our brochures.
