  • 3/4AH’s Show and Tell with Amy

Although she is still learning English, she speaks confidently about familiar topics in front of her classmates and answers their questions. Knowing that Amy likes a challenge, a secret speaking task was set for her. She had to speak for as long as she could about a mystery object with no preparation at all. The mystery object was nothing more than a simple paper clip – hardly the most inspiring discussion topic. However, not only did Amy manage to talk at length and with great imagination about the many uses of a paperclip, she had her classmates in stitches. Unafraid to take risks and make mistakes, Amy sets a great example with her unpredictable creativity and cheerful resilience. Well done, Amy!
