Our Summer Performing Arts with Juilliard programme has just finished in Geneva, Switzerland. Students from around the world spent two weeks at Collège du Léman immersed in performing arts, guided by Juilliard's guest artists. As part of the Nord Anglia Education family, Collège du Léman is an international university preparatory school offering individual growth, academic excellence and life-long learning.
Summer Performing Arts with Juilliard is an immersive experience enabling students to engage deeply in music, dance, or drama, and to make powerful connections with like-minded students from across the world. The Juilliard School is a world leader in performing arts education and this programme represents a unique opportunity for students to study with Juilliard artist faculty.
This summer, students participating in the Music Programme (instrumental, vocal, piano) were inspired and challenged by working closely with their teachers in orchestra, choir and smaller ensembles.
The Dance Programme provided dancers the opportunity to expand their technique and creativity in a supportive and inspiring atmosphere. By sharing and collaborating with other young artists from around the globe, the dance students expanded their creative range, became stronger performers, and developed lasting connections and friendships.
Guided by master teachers from New York’s Juilliard Drama Division, students attending Summer Performing Arts enjoyed learning creative physical expression, vocal exploration with text and music, ensemble acting, and a variety of fun techniques aimed toward liberating their theatrical imagination.
