Students had the opportunity to meet with a wide variety of career mentors, to discuss and explore different career pathways, degree options and learn more about different routes through education. As our students are moving through their education we are aware that they will be making important decisions about what post-secondary options they would like to pursue. This experience was a great introduction to the world of work and future opportunities. As one Year 12 student shared “it was very reassuring to discuss with the career mentors about how my interests and education can translate into future career opportunities”. We are very grateful to TTS for hosting the event and extending an invite to our students and look forward to building on this in the future.

Students will now complete an online survey exploring their future plans which we can use as a basis for developing our future career guidance options at DCIS. We encourage students to discuss their career and study plans at home with parents or with support from our school Guidance Counsellor, Ms Alison Ford alison.ford@dovercourt.edu.sg
