DCIS Year 7 Headteacher Reward

This morning, ten outstanding Year 7 students were invited to hot chocolate by Head of Secondary, Mr Bull.

Over the year students from different year groups will be invited to hot chocolate with the Head of Secondary. The students selected have all shown exceptional behaviour and attitude towards learning and their friends. The first Headteacher Reward took place this morning, with ten of our Year 7 students attending. The students were nominated by their Form Tutors and the Year 7 Progress Leader, Ms Dodson.

Congratulations to:

Samuel (7HL) – Sam is a new student at Dover Court, however, we have impressed with the way he showed kindness to another student and helped them get to lesson. We have also been impressed with his resilience in lessons.

Garrick (7HL) - Garrick has been an excellent class mate and support to all his peers.

Olivia (7DS) - Olivia has impressed me when her kindness and reliability. Olivia has played an important role in helping new students settle into Dover Court.

Charles (7DS) - Charles has been very helpful in class and to all his classmates.

Emily (7BC) - Emily has been a model Secondary student this past two weeks. She always arrives on time, in full uniform, ready to learn.

Anwita (7BC) - Anwita has been really helpful and supportive to other form members this week.

Max (7EJ) - We have been very pleased with Max’s attitude towards Secondary School and his willingness to try new subjects and find his way around.

Yael (7EJ) - Yeal has been rewarded for asking questions and showing initiative.

Jordan (7RC) - We are pleased with her positive attitude regarding starting a brand new school. Jordan has thrown herself into her learning and teachers are very pleased with her.

Anderson (7RC) - has been incredibly helpful in the classroom with anything ICT related.


The next Headteacher Reward, where we will be celebrating our Year 8 students, will take place next month .
