Phuong Anh, a Year 12 student at BVIS, recently had a meaningful conversation with Mr. Maurice Nguyễn, the Founder of the British Vietnamese International School Ho Chi Minh City. The meeting opened up heartfelt stories about the 15-year journey of building and developing this unique international school.

The first stop that left Khanh in awe was the BioMaker Space – a hub where students and researchers design cutting-edge biological systems. While Khanh had read about open labs before, seeing BioMaker Space firsthand was transformative.

From twinkling streets filled with mysterious lights to a cinema space bursting with the vibrant colors of Halloween, BVIS Family Movie Night 2025 brought families together for an evening of joy, laughter, and unforgettable moments.

In his talk, he highlighted the transformative power of AI in supporting teaching and learning – streamlining processes and freeing valuable time for both educators and students. At the same time, he acknowledged the current limitations of AI, affirming that empathy, trust, moral standards, and our shared humanities remain at the heart of education.

At BVIS, we believe that the individual differences of people should be celebrated as a strength that enriches our school community. BVIS Inclusion Week was an opportunity for us, as a school community, to come together and explore neurodiversity and differences.

We are delighted to congratulate five outstanding members of our teaching team on the successful completion of their Master of Arts in International Education with King’s College London, one of the world’s top universities (ranked among the top 10 in the UK and top 40 worldwide).

The summer maintenance and upgrade of facilities is an essential part of BVIS’s annual plan, ensuring a modern learning environment and providing the best experience for students, teachers, and all staff members.

At the beginning of September, we were very proud to hear of the publication of 6 children’s book written by Ms. Truc, our legendary Librarian. These books are from the series “Educate young children’s imagination”, a project that Ms. Truc has conceived during her time at BVIS, and one she feels very committed to.
