BISB welcomed Laura Careless to school on Thursday 22nd March for a day of performances and workshops as part of our Juilliard programme. Laura performed to all of our Primary students and our Year 7 and 8 students in an assembly in the morning, followed by an interview with our student journalists.
BISB welcomed Laura Careless to school on Thursday 22nd March for a day of performances and workshops as part of our Juilliard programme. Laura performed to all of our Primary students and our Year 7 and 8 students in an assembly in the morning, followed by an interview with our student journalists.
The students had prepared and asked some interesting questions; I am very much looking forward to reading the final article. Our dance students participated in a range of workshops led by Laura, embracing the opportunity to be both exposed to and learn from this freelance artist. It was a fantastic and energizing day and Laura was very impressed with the engagement of our students within the Performing Arts. I know our students embraced the opportunity to work with such a wonderful teacher and performer; an inspiring day!
