Parent Update - 28 August 2015

  • Assembly - 28 Aug
  • Assembly - Star of the Week - Art - 28 August 2015

Dear Parents,

SIGNING UP FOR ECAs

I hope you all received the email with instructions on signing up for ECAs (sent yesterday, 27 Aug). You’ll be able to sign up from 4.00pm today until 12 midday on Tuesday, 1 Sept. Please remember that the ECA software does not allocate places on a first-come basis. It looks at preferences (1st, 2nd, 3rd) and the number of ECAs that any child has chosen. You can sign up at any time during the sign-up period.

If you have any queries about ECAs, please email: ricky.auyeung@nais.hk

LATE BUS

When we email you your confirmed ECAs, you’ll also get a link to the Late Bus / Pick upoptions. Every Primary pupil must let us know how they will get home: (i) Late Bus or (ii) Pick up. Secondary school students may leave independently as usual.

INTER-HOUSE BASKETBALL – Next week during PE lessons

The House Competitions start next week during PE lessons. Please remember to let your child wear their House t-shirt on PE days.

LUNCH TIME FOOTBALL – Years 4 to 8

We’ve booked the large football pitches just opposite the school for optional lunchtime football matches starting from next week. Different year groups will play on different days and will be fully supervised by our PE team and teachers. It’s great to get this extra space, within easy walking distance from the school, to kick a ball around. All children will, of course, have plenty of time for lunch as well.

HEAD OF HOUSE SOCIAL EVENTS – PRIMARY ONLY – 31 Aug & 1 Sept

If your child is in Primary School, you should have received an email invitation to an informal get together with your child’s Head of House. This is for parents only and is a lovely opportunity to learn more about how our House system works for your child.

  • Windsor & Caernarfon: Mon 31 Aug – 6.30pm to 7.30pm
  • Balmoral & Sandringham: Tues 1 Sept – 6.30pm to 7.30pm
