I hope everyone has had a good week. It has been another busy one here at BSKL, and the highlight was certainly our Year 3 Sports Day. It was wonderful to see so many parents there supporting the children.

At BSKL, we continue to emphasise the profound role that reading plays in the intellectual and personal development of our secondary students.

BSKL was filled with shades of pink today as our community came together for one of the most meaningful events of the year: Pink Day.

We are delighted to share that twelve of our talented mathematicians recently participated in the KL Intermediate Maths Challenge (KLIMC) at The International School @ ParkCity.

Throughout October, the BSKL community came together to celebrate Black History Month, exploring the rich culture, origins, histories, and achievements of African and Caribbean communities and their diaspora.

Last weekend, BSKL had the honour of being represented at Malaysia’s first-ever International and Private Schools Debating Championships (MIPSDC), hosted at the prestigious International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM). Year 11 students, Wern Xin and Natasha, proudly took part in the tournament, competing among talented debaters from international and private schools across the country.

The value we asked to Students to display in the first House Competition of the year was Be Ambitious.

This year’s Y4–6 and Secondary Sports Days at Panasonic Stadium were packed with energy, excitement, and outstanding displays of determination and teamwork.
