Meet Our Students

There is no limit to what Nord Anglia Education students can achieve. We encourage every child to develop strong skills and values so they can thrive academically and socially. Our Be Ambitious philosophy inspires your child to challenge themselves and achieve more than they may have thought possible.

The following examples are but a few of the success stories from across our global family of Nord Anglia Education schools.

Daniel Lozakovich

Collège du Léman

Daniel has been called one of the world’s greatest violinist and is widely praised for his exceptional playing. As a Nord Anglia student, Daniel enjoys playing outdoor sports as well as chess when he’s not studying in the classroom, practicing his instrument or performing on the world stage.

Daniel was born in Stockholm in 2001 and began playing the violin at just six years old. He made is concerto debut with the Moscow Virtuosi Chamber Orchestra just two years later. Since then, he has become an award-winning player, performing as a violin soloist with various prestigious orchestras all across Europe, Russia and even farther abroad in countries such as Japan. His passion for performing classical music by renowned composers such as Beethoven, Mozart, Bach and Bartok has led him to give violin concertos to widespread critical acclaim.

Since joining Collège du Léman, a Nord Anglia Education flagship school, Daniel has been able to find a healthy balance between working on his academic progress and the challenges of a developing career as a performing artist. Whenever time permits, he participates in social events and sports activities with his school’s boarding community. Having friends, teachers and mentors outside the artistic circle allows him to enjoy a fulfilling life at school.

Erik Tihelka

The Prague British School

As a student at The Prague British School, Erik Tihelka has been producing papers for various national and international publications. Initially translating between Czech and English, and later publishing his own work on Entomology in various international peer-reviewed journals.

Erik completed this high-level work while still in Year 9 and 10, and he has pushed that boundary further with the production of his own open access peer-reviewed journal, Ethnoentomology, which means the study of insects in culture.

Erik has included and will continue to include work from other researchers and has started a platform for sharing research for both himself and for others in this specific branch of the scientific community. Through the peer review process, he as the editor ensures that the content of the journal is of a high standard and with the utmost scientific integrity, expected of any level of researcher.

Henrietta Solomon

British International School Houston

As one of the top 40 gymnasts in the US, Henrietta's countless hours of practice have led to her accomplishment at such a young age. At the age of 3, she found her love for gymnastics.

By age 7, she was practicing eight hours per week while attending the British International School of Houston, perfecting her craft on the bars, floor, beam and vault.

Henrietta shares Nord Anglia Education's Be Ambitious philosophy. What she loves the most about the sport is that she gets to set her own goals. Her greatest dream is to be able to get to the Olympics one day.
